TECHNICAL STUFF
Have you ever had problems with the antenna and light wires making noise inside the mast while the boat is rocking side to side? We did and I decided to find a solution. Click above to see. I tried numerous ways to install a proper shelter for our boat during the winter. From looking at other boats and seeing how the snow weighted down the tarpaulin causing it to tear, I decided to add some support underneath. The first year I lashed 1/4" Poli-twine from port to starboard every 2 feet. This was very time consuming and did not work as well as I thought it would. The following year, I used 1" flexible electrical tubing I had left over from running electrical wires underground in our back yard. Click above to see more. |
