We decided to move our anchorage at least 3 times so we could explore different parts
of Taylor Creek.  In the picture above, we were anchored near the Beaufort Docks.
They offer the use of their showers for only $2 person and I was able to replenish my jerry cans with diesel and obtain some water. 

The waterfront is about a half mile long with dinghy docks and garbage cans
available at both ends of the town.
