Marsh harbor was a required stop for provisioning before leaving the Abacos.   The
small town had a few grocery and liquor stores, engine repair centres, banks,
restaurants and numerous marinas most within walking distance of the anchorage.

The entrance to the anchorage was tricky if one followed the newly installed
channel markers instead of using the chart.  Many boats went aground in the
area above including the large ferry on the right.  The smaller tugboat slightly
to the left tried for many hours to dislodge it but to no avail.  The ferry needed
to wait until high tide.  During the grounding spectacle, another ferry, docked
to the left in back of the dark hulled tanker, caught fire.  It was a bad day
for the harbor and only our third day anchored there.
