We finally made it to Georgetown!  This is one of the most popular anchorages in
the Bahamas, with an average of 400 boats anchored throughout the harbor.   Upon
our arrival, we were fortunate to see Eileen Quinn perform in a mini concert on
Volleyball Beach.  Eileen and her husband David are sailors themselves on
"Little Gidding", and her songs are all about the cruising life.  You can visit her site at
www.eileenquinn.com .

Georgetown is one of the last stops for most boaters during the winter months, while
others, such as ourselves, stopped for provisioning, boat maintenance and a
weather window  to move on to the Jumentos.

If you like the boating community life and to make many new friends, this is definitely
the place to stop for the winter.
